This tailored wrap sweater lets a stunning yarn speak for itself. It is constructed from the bottom up in pieces, with set-in sleeves; the wrap ties and neckline edging are picked up and worked once the sweater is seamed. A hole for the wrap is left in the side seam while piecing the sweater together.

Shelter is a lightweight, tweedy wool with a sophisticated color palette. It is the highlight of the sweater and produces a garment that does not drape or drag the way some heavier fibers might. Should you choose to substitute yarn, pick a lofty fiber with an interesting visual texture, to make the most of this understated design.

When using Shelter, you will need approximately 6 (7, 8, 8, 9, 10, 10, 11, 12, 13) hanks.
