Pattern Description from Cast On, August-October 2009:

This yarn has definite thick and thin areas and also occasional dots of contrasting color. The yarn does the magic of changing colors as you work along. For the second sock, just use the remainder of the skin by casting on with whatever color is next. If you prefer two socks in a matching color sequence, find the same color as the cast on color of the first sock, or if working a longer foot length, purchase another skein of yarn to achieve a matching color sequence. The sample socks in the photograph were made from one skein of yarn to fit a ladies shoe size 6 1/2-7 and are worked from the top down.
