Entwine Table Runner
This table runner is designed with two sizes of motif, set on point to each other to give an open effect. The large motif, using a 4mm hook, measures about 9.5cm (4”) and the small one measures about 6.5cm (2.5”). It is easy to make the runner bigger or shorter by changing the number of motifs.
One ball of each of 6 colours are required to make the runner as pictured - the total measurement is 145cm(57”) by 33.5cm (13”).
The pattern is written in UK terminology and uses the regular ch, dc and tr stitches, as well as some special stitches (2trcl, 3trcl, 2dbltrcl, 3dbltrcl) which are defined in the pattern. This project uses the ‘join-as-you-go’ method, which is explained in the pattern. Alternatively, you can make up the completed motifs and sew them together at the corners.
