Named for the short-blooming wildflowers of spring, the Ephemeral Shawl mixes two different ombré yarns to create a striped pattern that appears more complex than it is. The shawl is worked as two triangles using different stripe patterns, with the second triangle picked up along the edge of the first.

NOTES

  • This shawl is worked as two triangles, with the second triangle picked up along the edge of the first.

  • The sample used almost all of four balls of yarn. Consider purchasing an extra ball of each color as insurance.

  • A circular needle is used to accommodate the large number of stitches.
