Icelandic pullover sweater in Reynolds Lopi wool. His or Hers.

Sizes: Directions are for small size chest or bust 34-36”. Changes for medium size 38-40” and large size 42-44” are in parentheses.

Calls for Reynolds Lopi, 6 (7-7) skeins #7352 Natural Dark Brown or #7359 Black (A), 2 skeins #7351 White (B) and 1 skein #7357 Grey (C).

Knitting Needles, 1 pair each No. 8 and no.10 1/2. Set of dpn needles No.8 for his; No. 6 for hers.

Gauge: Pattern on 10 1/2 needles, 7 stitches = 2 inches: 4 rows = 1”.

Test Piece: With No 10 1/2 needles cast on 14 stitches. Work in Stockinette as following first 14 stitches on chart 1 for 16 rows. Piece should measure 4” square.

Knitted measurements: Chest or Bust 39 (43-47)“ Width of back at underarm - 19 1/2 (21 1/2 - 23 1/2); width of sleeve at upper arm - 14 (16 - 17 1/2).

Loosely fit garment.

Length Notes: Body from lower edge to underarm 14 1/2”.

Sleeves to underarm - 17” for his; 16” for hers. Armhole depth - 9 1/2 for his; 8 1/2 for hers.

For longer length, body and sleeves can be blocked a little longer, or add to the ribbed bands.
