CORRECTION FOR ERIC’S PATH KNEE-HIGH
Chart 1 has total of 65 sts. It should only be 63.
(there are 2 extra sts. in centre panel between the vertical blue lines)
So using charg as it is, for extra large size, omit st. 14 and 52.
For large size, omit 14-16 and 50 to 52
For small size, omit 14-18, and 48 to 52
Once shaping chart is complete, work one more dec. as follows:
Knit to last 2 sts. of front (there are 4 blue sts., 2 in front, 2 in back) sl2tog, k1, p2sso, k1 (now have 2 blue sts. on front. Continue knitting to last 2 sts., sl2tog, k1 from beginning of round, pass 2 slipped sts. over.
There are now 2 blue sts. on each side of the front…
Correction for heel flap on knee high
work heel with ODD # of sts.
heel pattern:
Row 1: With MC, sl, p1 across.
Row 2: Slide work back to the original end of the needle, and with CC, p1, s1 across (both strands are now at the same end of the needle).
Row 3: With MC, k1, s1 across.
Row 4: Slide work back to the original end of the needle, and with CC, s1, k1 across (both strands are now at the same end of the needle).
ADD THIS LINE FOR SOCK AND KNEE-HIGH
Before dividing for heel flap: Move 1 st. from beg. of round to end of round.
