Eridani
Inspired by this beautiful DyeForYarn Late Hour colorway, I wanted to design a shawl reminiscent of a starry night sky. The gorgeous deep color of the yarn matches the color of a midnight sky and I added crystal beads throughout the lace for a bit of star-like sparkle (approx. 250 6/0 or 5/0 seed beads). The simple, unfussy lace pattern I chose for the deep border is timeless, elegant, and feels modern thanks to its strong geometric lines.
This shawl is worked in one piece from the top down starting with a simple set of garter stitch short rows, which shape the shawl into a versatile crescent. The lace border with beads is worked next; however, the beads are optional and the design will work just as well without them. This, along with the easy lace pattern, makes Eridani a great introduction-to-lace project and a fun, quick knit for the more advanced lace knitter.
The English version of Eridani is now available as a Ravelry download. It contains the original charted pattern as well as written row-by-row instructions.
Pattern was originally exclusive to the amirisu shawl club 2015第三弾
