Like the craggy cliffs that meet the Irish Sea, a deeply textured garter rib surrounds the classic elements of an Aran Fisherman sweater. Add the easy-going style of raglan shaping and Erina becomes an heirloom sweater with everyday wearability.

Erina is knit seamlessly from the top down. The ribbed neckband is cast on first, and then stitches are increased along the sleeves and neckline to accommodate the cable pattern. Raglan shaping is worked to the underarm, when the sweater is divided, and the sleeves and body are knit in the round to the bottom.

Pattern includes both written and charted stitch patterns.
