Ernestine is a doll-sized cloche knit in the round from the bottom up. Bands are worked at the same time to secure a decorative ribbon accent.

Yarn: You will need approximately 50 yards of a worsted-weight wool for best results. (Pictured: Patons Classic Wool Merino in Chocolate – worsted, 1 skein / 100g / 223 yards, 100% wool)

Supplies:

• Five US size 8 double-pointed needles
• 2 stitch holders or waste yarn
• 1 yard of 5/8” ribbon
• tapestry needle

Sizing: Finished hat should fit the head of an 18” doll such as the American Girl doll.
