Bring the nostalgia! This pattern is written in US terms and is suitable for intermediate crocheters.

NOTE: you can buy the pattern pack (both Bert and Ernie) in my shop, www.fatladycrochet.ca

Ernie is worked in continuous rounds from the bottom up, with body and head made in one piece. Arms, legs, noses, ears, eyes, and other features are worked separately and sewn on. Be sure to use a stitch marker to keep track of rounds, and stuff each piece firmly without stretching the stitches. The finished Ernie is roughly 10 inches tall (including hair).

⚠️ Safety Note: Buttons may be used for eyes only if the piece is intended for people over 3 years of age. Otherwise, embroider the pupils.
