Esja is inspired by the volcanic mountain range north of Iceland’s capital Reykjavik. This sweater features an original color work motif reminiscent of volcanic peaks and lava flow as it changes from light to dark. I’ve never been to Iceland but have always wanted to travel there. I would love to wear this sweater while going for the perfect hike on Mt. Esja in the Summer in Iceland……

Notes
This top down yoked sweater features an original color work motif. The sleeves are picked up and knit down from the yoke, and the collar is picked up and knit at the end.
