“Esme Cowl” has been designed to match “Esme hat”. It is knit in the same cable pattern as the hat, however cables are staggered in reference to one another, which gives the cowl slightly different look.
The piece is also knit flat, with i-cord edgings running on both sides, and then grafted. If grafting is not your thing than sew the ends together!

“Esme Cowl” is knit in Shalimar yarns “Breathless DK”, sample shown in colour “Neptune”. It can be knit long (1.5 skeins) or short (0.75 skein) depending on yarn availability and wearer’s preference.

The instructions are written and also charted.
The pattern has been created for an intermediate skill level.

“Esme Cowl” is perfect as a Christmas gift, fast to make and great for stash busting!
