It can be hard to describe how thankful I am to be part of this amazing knitting community. I love being able to share soothing knits with you, and to learn about you in return. I treasure every interaction! Rachelle of Moondrake Co. and I collaborated on this special asymmetrical triangle shawl. I am in love with Rachelle’s colorways and her Soft Sport base, and she had the perfect colors already dyed up for this simple, squishy shawl. Eternal Gratitude was named by Jess @gallo.jess and it perfectly articulates how I feel. Eternally grateful for the support and kindness of our wonderful community.
Eternal Gratitude is an asymmetrical triangle shawl knit from corner to bind off edge, increasing one stitch every right side row. You’ll shift through three colors of sport weight yarn with a simple slipped stitch pattern, and soothing garter rounds out this cozy shawl.
You can use fingering weight yarn for a lighter and slightly smaller shawl and I definitely suggest swatching to get your ideal fabric, but I highly recommend sport weight, especially if you haven’t worked with it before!
This was a collaboration with Rachelle @moondrakeco and yarn support was provided. Rachelle’s Soft Sport is one of my favorite bases and I couldn’t suggest it more highly!
