Etoile
Wrap yourself in a cozy cardigan with a touch of Star Rib Mesh ventilation on sleeves and back. The high collar can be buttoned up for a funnelneck effect or allowed to drape like a shawl collar. Afterthought pockets keep your hands warm (and phone nearby).
Etoile is worked seamlessly from the bottom up. Sleeves are joined to body at the underarms, and then a saddle-shoulder yoke is created, bringing the Star Rib Mesh up onto the shoulders. Everything is edged with Garter Stitch for a neat finish.
Atina DK is coming soon, and you will love its Polwarth and silk goodness (plus its generous put-up). Visit Wooly Wonka Fibers for details.
Features
- Body and sleeves are worked back and forth, each in one piece, to the underarms, then all three are united on one long circular needle to create the seamless, saddle-shoulder yoke
- Star Rib Mesh features on sleeves and back - pattern is provided in both written and charted form
- Afterthought pockets (optional) and integrated button bands add special details, while cutting down on finishing work
