Etude en Tressage is knit from the top-down in seamless construction with raglan sleeves. The neckline is shaped with simple German Short Rows. The sleeves can be knit with short, ¾-length or long sleeves. All the options are included in the pattern instructions.
Etude in Tressage, translated from French means ~ “Study in Braiding”.

This pattern is the sister pattern to the Tressage pullover that was designed in fingering weight yarn. Based on your requests, I reworked the pattern for a thicker yarn. Also, I added short-row shaping in the neckline, so that the back of the neck is raised. Both patterns will also be featured in my upcoming book titled: “Rhapsody in Tressage”.
