Euler Cardigan
Named after the accomplished and creative mathematician Leonhard Euler, this cardigan combines dropped stitches with bold cables along the front panels. The pieces are worked separately and seamed together for structure. The dramatic front panels hang loosely without a closure for an elegant but cozy sweater.

Needles: 4 mm/US 6 straight needle for rib and 4.5 mm/US 7 straight needle.
Notions: Markers, stitch holders, cable needle and yarn needle.
Gauge: 20 sts and 27 rows in st st measures 10 cm/4” square.
35-sts Drop cable front band measures 14 cm/5.5” wide.
Notes: The cardigan is worked back and forth from the bottom up in separate pieces and seamed. The collar is worked in two parts and joined with a three needle bind off which is seamed to the center back neck, then along each front edge.
