The top is crocheted lengthwise in the shape of a tube whose end sides are crocheted together. With the given pattern, it fits ranges of sizes, so you can customize it to fit your size. The one in the tutorial fits sizes XS & S.
The pattern contains written instructions that are accompanied by step-by-step pictures. It contains the pattern for the top as well as patterns for the flower-ensemble.

Supplies:
sport yarn of your choice (about 250 gr.) and a 1.9 mm hook (UK 3) (US 5) for the top and some of the flowers
DK yarn and a 3mm hook (UK11) (US 10/3) for some of the flowers, leaves and accents

• sewing thread in color matching the color of the top
• sewing needle for sewing the flowers, leaves and accents on, tapestry needle for weaving ends.

Stitches: chain (ch), chain space (ch-space), skip (sk), slip stitch (sl st), single crochet (sc), half double crochet (hdc), double crochet (dc), dc2-cluster, double crochet 3 together (dc3tog), treble (tr), picot. American terminology used.

Measurements of finished top: 38cm (14.9”) across and 26cm (10.2”) down.
