Even Jazzier Scarf for a Homeless One
Discontinued.
This digital pattern is no longer available online.
Crochet for a Cause: Homelessness
An even jazzier scarf designed - adding more texture with bobbles and extra rows of ribbing - with the unique needs of the homeless in mind.
Tips:
-
Use a dark - or earth-colored - yarn that doesn’t easily show dirt.
-
Make a solid color scarf. Patterns draw attention, and attention when homeless can be unsafe.
-
Use a washable yarn, like acrylic worsted weight.
UPDATE: Many thanks to katematthew for catching my cluster/puff stitch oops!
The correct stitch to make the bobbles/bumps is called The Puff Stitch.
The pattern page will be updated to reflect the correction. :-)
