EVENING BEAUTIFUL SOCKS

All proceeds from these shortie socks will be donated forever to the charity, Myeloma UK (Registered charity number SC026116 Myeloma UK - Get information, help and support). The last week of June is Myeloma Awareness Week, and it was this week six years ago that I was diagnosed with Myeloma (a blood cancer). I am so grateful to Myeloma UK for the support and information they provide patients and their loved ones. The inspiration for these socks was the star stitch that I used in my Morning Beautiful socks, the first pattern I designed to support Myeloma UK last year for Myeloma Awareness Week and the amazing orange mini skeins that Sophie, the dyer/owner of Botanical Yarn dyed up as part of her collection raising money for Myeloma UK this year (2022).

Pattern Information
Sizes: 1 (Adult M, 64 sts)/ 2 (Adult L, 72 sts)
To fit approximately 8-inch (20 cm)/9-inch (22.5 cm) foot circumference.
Yarn: Botanical Yarn SW merino nylon 4ply sock mini skeins (75% SW merino/25% nylon 5 x 20g (85 m/93 yds) in the Myeloma UK colour way CC1-CC5.
Needles: 2.5 mm / US 1.5 (or size needed to get gauge)
Gauge: 8 sts & 12 rounds = 1 inch / 2.5 cm in stocking stitch
