The colour of this yarn spoke to me from the very beginning and I felt it needed a fairly simple pattern to show of the gorgeous colour. The result was this shawl with a simple body pattern based on a triangle ‘granny’ set off with a stunning border. The border is only 6 rows so easy to achieve and the result is lovely.

Evening Delight has a chart of the border and written instructions to guide you in making your item.

Evening Delight can be made with 600yds of fingering weight yarn. It can be made with lace weight as well but you will need to use a smaller hook and the shawl will be smaller.

One size: 25”/64cm deep, 48”/122cm wingspan.
