Everleigh Fisherman’s Rib Sweater
Worked in the round bottom-up and seamless, this is an infinitely versatile piece that can be worn inside out. The two-color simple fisherman’s rib with beautiful raglan shaping makes Everleigh an ideal entry into fisherman’s rib garments.

Gauge: 22.5 sts and 49 rnds = 4″ 10 cm in Fisherman’s Rib, after wet blocking
The body and sleeves are worked separately in the round, bottom up to the armholes and then they are joined and the yoke is worked in the round with raglan shaping to the neck.
Fisherman’s Rib is very similar to single rib, but doesn’t have the elasticity of the classical rib and is fluffier. At the beginning, it might be a little messy and confusing, but as you work some rows, the pattern will be visible and will guide you from itself.
In 2-Color Fisherman’s Rib, every rnd must be worked twice to be completed. Every rnd is worked first with one color and then with the second one. The main color forms the “knit” columns on the RS and the secondary color forms the “purl” columns on the RS.
After you have worked one rnd with the main color, bring the yarn to the back of your work and bring the secondary yarn in front of your work.
