Evermore
The layers of color in this yarn have been impossible to truly capture.
This simple wrap is that Extra Layer you’re looking for.
I wear it single, double and just over my shoulders.
Shown in Saco River DyeHouse Lopi 70% Alpaca, 30% Merino
3 skeins, about 500 yards.
It’s described as a DK, but the skeins I have are more of a (heavy) worsted.
32” circular needle in size to achieve gauge
Stitch Marker
17 stitches and 26 rows to 4 inches in pattern
Finished Dimensions 42” around and 15” deep
Upon completion and continued wearing of this wrap, I find that the fabric has widened a bit more than it originally blocked, a combination of the stitch and the high Alpaca content, I’m sure.
It’s still a great cowl and now doubles easily.
