Galileo™ (sport weight, 50% Merino Wool, 50% Viscose from Bamboo; 131 yards/50g):

  • Juno 29518, 11 (12, 13, 14, 16) (17, 18, 20, 21) balls

This lovely tunic started out as a TNT (tried and true) top-down raglan pullover, but the exquisite Galileo yarn called for more drape and elegance. Worn for an evening stroll on the beach or for visiting friends at an outdoor cafe, this garment inspires romance.

Starting with a broad neckline, two increase methods alternate in the round for shaping the shoulder and yoke. Sleeves are shaped at different rates: size-graded tapering gives the appearance of a straight sleeve while eliminating excess fabric for larger sizes. Body increases begin again just below the bust and continue to low hip level or desired length for a bit of swing.
