A pattern for a versatile sling bag.

This bag is so simple to make, comfortable to wear, and makes a great fashion-statement addition to your wardrobe. Start at the bottom of the bag and work up, you only need to know a couple of stitches. Complete the bag with an understated edging, add a crocheted button and a flap embellishment to tie it all together.

Size: Base = 8 1/2”, width = 14”, length above base and before handle = 6”.
Skill level: Intermediate.
Materials: “Everyday” (a worsted weight or size 4 yarn) from Premier Yarns.
Tools: U.S. sizes G and H crochet hooks.
