Description

The Everyday Tank Top is a versatile sleeveless garment designed for year-round wear. Whether crafted with lightweight yarn for summer comfort or more substantial fibers for layering beneath cardigans in cooler weather, this adaptable piece seamlessly integrates into any wardrobe.

Knitted from the top down, you will start by working the straps for the front, then join them once the neckline has been shaped and work until the armholes. Stitches are then picked up in the cast-on edge of the straps to form the upper back. Once both upper front and back are completed, you will join the body in the round and knit the lower body. Since you are working from the top down, you can adjust the length of the lower body to your liking.

The finished top is then complemented by neat, ribbed edges created by picking up stitches along the armholes and neckline using smaller needles.

This pattern employs fundamental knitting techniques: knitting, purling, increasing, and picking up stitches along edges.
