Many little treats add up to big one in this delightful mini-skein project – easy yet satisfying, just what you need when holiday preparations get hectic. Stacked wedges lead you on a colour adventure, with the simplest of techniques (just garter stitch, seed stitch and German short rows) used to beautiful effect.

Working in the round gives you two options for the final product: graft the ends together for a cosy, double-layer infinity cowl (Evighet means “eternity” in Norwegian), or leave it open for an extra-tall version with horizontal lines. Add the multitude of colour combining possibilities (gradient or contrast? Maybe a minimalist two-colour version, or a randomly striped scrap buster? Make it shorter, or even longer?) and you have a pattern to return to… eternally.

This pattern was originally released as part of the Norah George Yarns 2018 Advent Yarn Calendar. Any photos shown here BEFORE Christmas are not samples made with the Advent Calendar - no spoilers here!
