Stranded knitting is so.much.fun! It is easy to become addicted! Everyone can and should give it a try!

I created this fun mini hat ornament as a good first project, for an introduction to stranded knitting class I taught. This project knits up quickly, takes very little yarn, and gauge/tension issues don’t cause wear-ability concerns. When complete, use it as a key chain, a tree ornament, or on a festive garland!

The pattern includes the instructions on how to create a wee sheep-y hat, and also my tips and tricks sheet from the class.

If you end up trying and loving colorwork as much as me, I have a other colorwork designs I hope you will love! Megan Williams’ Colorwork Designs

This pattern was technically edited and test knit.
