Inspired by “Ex-Girlfriend” by No Doubt

This was the first of many skirts that I knit for Mindy Kaling to wear on Hulu’s The Mindy Project. I named it Ex-Girlfriend because of what happens in the episode in which she wears it (go watch episode 4.14!!!) Goes with the Quit Breaking Up With Me Vest.

This pattern is written for everyone. You take your gauge and your personal measurements and plug it into the charts and create your own custom skirt pattern.

MATERIALS
3 or 4 skeins Madelinetosh “Tosh Merino Light” in Oceana
(note – yardage needed depends on your measurements and stitch gauge)
1 skein Madelinetosh “Tosh Merino Light” in Neon Peach
(note – you will only use a very small amount of this for the bottom detail of the skirt)
100% Superwash Merino Wool
US 1, 2, and 3 24”circular needles
Stitch Marker
Tapestry Needle
