Experience: the name was easy to find for this shimmering colored blanket.
It is the result of my first adventure with Icelandic yarn that I had fun to divert from its original use.
Inspired both by the Navajo rugs and oriental kilims, it’s finally in an Orthodox church that I have chosen to photograph it.
Much easier to crochet that it seems: if you know how make double crochet and chains: it is for you !

Experience : le nom était tout trouvé pour ce plaid aux couleurs chatoyantes.
C’ est le fruit de ma première aventure avec la laine islandaise que je me suis amusée à détourner de son usage initial. Inspiré à la fois par les plaids navajo et les kilims orientaux, c’ est finalement dans une paroisse orthodoxe que j’ ai choisi de le photographier.
Beaucoup plus simple à crocheter qu’ il n’ y paraît: si vous savez faire des brides et des mailles en l’ air: il est pour vous!

Le plaid est crocheté avec le fil en double.

Experience: Nafnið á þetta litríka teppi kom af sjálfu sér við fyrstu kynni mín af íslensku ullinni. Það var gaman að hekla úr bandinu og eitthvað allt annað en hefðbundið. Innblásturinn fékkst frá Navajo mottum og austurlenskum “kilims” og að lokum ákvað ég að taka myndir af teppinu í Rétttrúnaðarkrikju.
Það er mun auðveldara að hekla teppið en í fyrstu virðist, þ.e.a.s. ef þú kannt að hekla keðjulykkjur, loftlykkjur, fastalykkjur og stuðla. Gangi þér vel!
