Sea anemones are just adorable! Why not use this pattern to create your own underwater garden?!

The ButterflyLove pdf Eyeball Sea Anemone knitting pattern gives you clear step by step instructions to make your own little cephalopod. This pattern only involves knitting flat and is suitable for a beginner/intermediate knitter. You can also contact me at any point if you need technical advice or have any other queries.

What you will need:

2 knitting needles (US2/2.75mm or as per tension advice)
15g DK yarn for the base/column (e.g. Sirdar Snuggly DK 489 ‘Tangerine’)
5-10g DK yarn for the top (e.g. Sirdar Snuggly DK 350 ‘Spicy Pink’)
10-15g DK yarn for the tentacles (e.g. Sirdar Snuggly DK 242 ‘Flamenco’)
Oddment of yarn for the mouth (e.g. Sirdar Snuggly DK 486 ‘Peek a Boo’) optional
5g white DK yarn for eyeballs/inner mouth (e.g. Sirdar Snuggly DK 251 ‘White’)
Polyfil toy stuffing
2 plastic toy safety eyes (6mm)
2 small discs of cardboard or thin plastic
1 tapestry needle for finishing

Skills used: Casting on and off, Increasing and Decreasing

Stitches used: Stocking stitch
