This versatile crescent shawl can be knit with a range of yarn weights from fingering to worsted. Either eyelet pattern can be used alone for the entire shawl, or for any number of repeats in combination with stockinette sections. It may be knit all in one color or with different sections in different colors. It can be knit as a smaller shoulder wrap, as in the sample (knit with two skeins of Sprout DK), or longer. The crescent shawl is shallow in back with long ends, which may be worn with the ends naturally curled in the front or wrapped straight around. Longer versions may also be wrapped around the waist and fastened in back.
