Fabienne Tee is a basic knitted tee. The tee is knitted top down. The top of the sleeves and body is worked in one piece and there is no sewing involved.
The pattern includes instructions for 3 different types of finishings for the hem – I have chosen a rolled hem for my Fabienne Tee at the sleeves and the neckline combined with a folded hem at the body.

Construction notes
First, the top of the back is knitted with slanted shoulders. Then stitches are picked up for the front along the shoulder stitches of the back. Each side of the front is knitted separately. The slanted shoulders are shaped with short rows. Then you knit to the beginning of the neckline curve. Stitches are now picked up for the top of the sleeve, and the front, back and sleeves are worked (at the same time) until the end of the armhole. From there, the body and sleeves are knitted separately. Finally, stitches are picked up for the neckline edge.

Size guide
Fabienne Tee is intended to have a positive ease of approx. 5-12 cm 2-4.75”, depending on how loosely fitting you want it to be. It is shown here with a positive ease of 5 cm 2“. Find your personal bust circumference by measuring around your chest (or the widest part of your upper body). Then look at the measurements given at the beginning of the pattern (these are the finished measurements of the tee). Positive ease is the difference between your personal measurement and the tee’s measurement.
For example, if your bust circumference is 94 cm 37”, a size M would provide you with a positive ease of 7 cm 2.75”
(101 cm – 94 cm = 7 cm) 39.75” - 37” = 2.75”.
The length is measured at the center back, excl. the neckline.
