Fäboda shawl
The Fäboda shawl was named after the beach in my childhood hometown. The two-color lace stripes of the shawl remind me of the patterns waves make when they hit the sandy beaches and the smooth rocks and cliffs where I have watched the sun set over the sea countless of times.
The Fäboda shawl is a triangular shawl with alternating sections of stockinette stitch and simple lace. The lace patterns are both charted and written. The shawl is slightly oversized so it’s perfect for chilly evenings by the sea. You can finish the shawl by adding tassels to the corners.
