The fun thing about the Fonty Tartan 3 yarn is that the raw wool is dyed and mixed with unbleached wool in three different proportions. This creates the 3 colour nuances from a single dye bath. In addition to the beautiful subtle differences in the colours, this has reduced the ecological footprint of the painting activities.

With 3 nuances of orange and a white I created this all over brioche shawl. Fading from a dark and warm orange to a light orange. I can’t wait to see what shades you will use for this shawl.
