The griffin is a mythical creature primarily known for its combination of an eagle’s head and talons with the body of a lion. It symbolizes power, majesty, and vigilance. Griffins are frequently associated with guarding treasure and are seen as symbols of strength, courage, and wisdom.

Yarn
4 skeins of Imperial Yarn’s McKenzie (100% Rambouillet/Columbia Sheep Climate Beneficial Wool; 220 yds/201 meters per 1.76/50g skein). 2 - Dandelion and 2 - Natural. Project uses all yardage with very little left over.(440 yds each of two colors used). This is a 1-Super Finer/fingering weight yarn.

Needles/Hooks
One US size 8/5 mm knitting needles, at least 12” in length for the main project.
One circular needle 16” or longer and US size 4/3.5 mm (or smaller) to hold stitches.
