The cat motif featured in this hat and blanket set comes from the Faeroe Islands; the colors were inspired by photos of farmhouses on the Faeroese coastline. The blanket is worked in the round, then cut open to lie flat. A fabric lining covers the cut edge and the floats on the wrong side of the work.
