PATTERN NOTES
This cardigan is worked flat from the bottom up. The body is seamed at the sides and a three-needle bind-off joins the shoulders. The sleeves are picked up around the armhole, then worked flat and seamed to ensure a solid structure.
The stitch patterns include a Garter stitch selvedge edge to facilitate seaming.
The pattern is designed for 10 sizes. It is advised that you highlight all numbers relating to your size throughout before beginning. When only one number is given, it applies to all sizes. When a zero is used, no stitches are worked for that size.
The stitch patterns are both written (Stitches Used) and charted (p 5) for your preference. The pattern directions begin on p 3.
