Fair Isle Fingering for a Country Sweater
Materials:
- 8 ozs. Patons Fair Isle Fingering (“Patonised” shrink-resist finish) in main shade and small quantities of five different shades for fair isle. Original used yellow, with blue, fawn, brown, green and bright red for the fair isle.
- A set of four No. 12 needles, pointed both ends, and a pair each No. 10 and 12 Beehive needles.
Measurements: To fit 34-36 inch bust; length from top of shoulders, 20 inches; sleeve seam, 18.5 inches.
Tension: 8 sts. to an inch over ribbinh on No. 10 needles, patted out flat, but not pressed.
