- Size 8 (5mm) 16-inch (for hat) and 32-inch (for sweater) circular needles
- Size 10 (6mm) 16-inch (for hat) and 32-inch (for sweater) circular and double-point (set of 5) needles or size needed to obtain gauge
- Stitch holder
- Stitch markers
- 6 (5/8-inch) buttons
- Sewing needle and matching thread (for buttons)
Gauge
Sweater: 16 sts and 20 rows = 4 inches/10cm in St st with larger needle.
Hat: 18 sts and 20 rnds = 4 inches/10cm in 2-color stranded St st with larger needle.
