This is a very traditional pattern inspired by the West Country Smock and is one of the patterns from my book Travellers Yarns.

The main part of the garment is knitted in a textured stitch pattern and there are graphs to follow for the yoked front and sleeve details.

The body could be knitted in plain stocking stitch if wished
The garment is loose fitting and the pattern includes detailed measurements.

You will need 800(850) g/28(30)oz of the main yarn and 150(175)g/6(7)oz of the contrast colour
Yarn is standard double knitting weight.
