Pattern description from Knit Simple Magazine, Holiday 2006: “A lively new take on the classic ski sweater, this simply constructed zip-up cardigan is knit in one piece to the underarm. The ribbed cuffs and hem reinforce the color base of the Fair Isle yoke.”

Knit Tip: “The ribbed collar folds over to proved a double dollop of warmth.”

  • Van Dyck by Filtes-King/Needful Yarns, 1¾oz/50g balls, each approx 118yd/108m (wool/acrylic/alpaca)
  • 7 (8, 9, 10) balls in #106 beige (MC)
  • 1 (2, 2, 2) balls in #142 brown (A)
  • 1 ball each in #109 tan (B), #130 khaki (C) and #706 hunter (D)
  • Two size 11 (8mm) circular needles, 36”/91cm length or size to obtain gauge
  • One set (4) size 11 (8mm) double-pointed needles (dpns)
