Fairies and Flowers Scarf
Dainty fairy motifs at one end of this scarf transform into flowers at the other end. Bead embellishment defines the fairy heads and flower buds. Taking advantage of the natural bias of the lace stitch patterns, a scalloped edging frames the entire piece.
For the fairies, a cable twist and eyelets define the body and wings, while a bead (placed with the crochet hook method) represents the head.

My fairy is called Tangle Goblinwand
She is a bringer of riches and wealth.
She lives at the bottom of tangled gardens and in hedgerows.
She is only seen when the seer holds a four-leafed clover.
She wears tangled dresses of multicoloured petals. She has gentle green wings like a butterfly.
