Fairnilee Swirls
This stunning and eye catching reversible shawl is guaranteed to produce quite an effect and a lot of interest around you..!
Knitted using the wonderful Brioche Knitting technique, the fabric is very light, and cleverly placed simple cables twist the smooth Brioche lines and turn the beautiful hand dyed yarns into a flowing and swirling pattern, reminiscent of the swirling pools on the river Tweed at Fairnilee, in the beautiful Scottish Borders.
Knitted in two colours from side to side and following an easy repeat pattern, the shawl is wonderfully warm and soft, and has a lot of drape to wrap around the shoulders for a cosy feel.
