Fairy Dust Socks
I knew I had to design a pattern as magical as the yarn I was using! I decided on a sweet “vine-like” lace pattern that flows down the leg, paired with a simple stockinette stitch to really allow the lacework to shine. Finish it off with a picot hem, and you’ve got a super sweet sock, just in time for spring and summer! I recommend a tonal or subtlety variegated yarn to allow that lace to pop!
The pattern is worked cuff down, with a heel flap and gusset. The length of the leg and foot are customizable to your preference! I recommend 9 inch circular needles for the lace pattern as you will be frequently increasing and decreasing - you can absolutely use DPNs or Magic Loop, but be prepared to shift your stitches from time to time!
Lace instructions are both written and charted.
