Falda is a swingy skirt with flattering elongating lines and fun bursts of colour at the hem. Falda uses three colours of sock-weight yarn in vertical stripes interrupted by gores which give the skirt its A-line shape. The skirt is worked side-to-side, seamed, and then the waistband is picked up and knit circularly. A turned waistband conceals a band of elastic.
