Sometimes you fall in love with yarn. You buy it, take it home, stash it … lovingly horde it. And then you pull it out and wonder “what was I thinking” “how did I ever think I could wear/want those colors”?

This is the pattern for that yarn.

By holding a strand of neutral bulky yarn and a strand of crazy color sock yarn you can create a lovely scarf that knits up quickly.

Otherwise Ack + meh = Yay!

Pattern appropriate for beginners.

Raveler cheztree has come up with a great modification for this scarf which can be seen in the second picture. It helped her with some curling issues she was having and I think brings some additional interest to the scarf. Check it out at this link!

Why is this a free pattern?
This was the very first improvised pattern that I wrote up. Although it is error free, it is not in my standard pattern format and does not reflect my current level of design. Please do not consider it a “sample” of my pattern writing style as I have learned much.

I want it to remain a free pattern so I have no current plans to “update” the format. Please enjoy as is - but know that it is a novice effort.
