False Creek
False Creek - by Tin Can Knits
False creek is an inlet at the heart of the Vancouver, surrounded by the Seawall; a linear park which celebrates the city’s connection to the sea. Ice cream, dog walking, sun bathing, a farmers market all within minutes of your yuppie condo - this is why Vancouver is consistently voted one of the most liveable cities in the world.
If you’re a new knitter and in need of a quick project this zippy little button scarf is an opportunity to learn about reading charts and very basic lace stitches. Knit in a super-bulky yarn, it works up very quickly, and makes a perfect gift.
