Fancy Fencework Sweater
I have always been a sucker for a traditional knit with a twist, and I am a double sucker for a special knit that I can wear during the holidays. Fancy Fencework is the brainchild of both of those loves and a little nod to the beautiful animals that provide us with the incredible fibre that we all love so much.
Knit with Bare Naked Wools lustrous Kent DK in 3 natural undyed shades, this sweater is soft and warm and makes for the perfect winter sweater. The light and airy yarn is a blend of romney wool and combed merino top. At the last minute I added a little red collar in their luscious Festivus yarn with a teeny gold bell to boot.
Fancy Fencework is knit bottom-up and joined at the underarms for a traditional raglan yoke. Short rows in the back make for a comfortable fit and a flattering neckline. Knit in 3 colours, Fancy Fencework sweater is guaranteed to keep you warm in the cold winter months!
