These mittens are named after my grandmother Elsy and the pattern isa the fifth in a series of mitten patterns named after strong women in my family.

The size of the mittens can be changed by changin the gauge.
If you change it up ypu will get a smaller mitten
change it down for a bigger mitten.

You change the gauge by changing the weight of your yarn and or the size of your needles.

Colors used in this pattern: Yellow, white, black, brown, green, red and blue.

Since you dont need that much of each color this pattern is great for your leftover yarn.
