Fás Mittens
……..
Fás: {fahs} Irish; grow
Watch the flower grow! As you knit each cheerful mitten from the cuff up, anticipation mounts as first the stem, then the leaves, then, finally the full open blossom, materialise upon the needles. A surprise late-winter bloom emerges from the frosted soil.
Worked in aran-weight yarn with two colours at a time, Fás is an exceptionally quick stranded colourwork mitten project. It is equally suitable for colourwork novices and colourwork addicts.
Note that a paper version of this pattern was originally published in 2018 by Yarn Vibes under the name Brayden Mittens. I, the designer have now re-pubished this pattern independently.

NOTES
If you have the Yarn Vibes paper version of this pattern and would like a copy of the pdf ravelry version, please drop me a line and I will send it to you. Kits for this pattern are available from Yarn Vibes.
The sample shown here was knitted using Höner Och Eir Nutiden yarn, held double. With this specific yarn, less than 50g total was used for the pair. (However be aware that with a typical Aran weight yarn, the weight will be closer to 100g.)
